BoldEdit

Terms of Service

Last updated: July 23, 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and BoldEdit for using the BoldEdit iOS app. By downloading or using the app, you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Who we are

BoldEdit (“we”, “our”, or “the app”) is an iOS application published by Mir Bedirhan Kaygusuz. It turns long videos into short, captioned vertical clips and can schedule and publish them to social accounts you choose to connect. You can reach us at boldeditsupport@gmail.com.

Using the app

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use BoldEdit on Apple devices you own or control, under the App Store Terms of Service. You may use the app for personal or commercial video projects.

You may not: reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the app’s source code or bundled models; resell, sublicense, or redistribute the app; or use it to break the law or infringe anyone’s rights.

Your content

Your videos, audio, and edits remain yours. We claim no ownership of anything you import, record, or create in the app. Media and transcripts are processed on your device — see the Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for having the rights to the footage, music, and other material you use, and for the content you publish through the app.

Connecting a TikTok or other social account

Connecting a social account is optional. If you choose to connect one:

Subscriptions and payments

BoldEdit offers a free tier and a paid subscription that unlocks premium features. Some features can be previewed for free and require a subscription to export.

Third-party services

The app relies on a small number of external services: Apple (App Store and purchases), RevenueCat (subscription management), Jamendo (the optional in-app music library), and the social platforms you connect, such as TikTok. Their own terms apply to their parts of the service.

Availability and changes

We may update, change, or discontinue features to improve the app or to keep it working with Apple’s and the platforms’ requirements. We may also update these terms; the “last updated” date above reflects the current version, and continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.

Disclaimer

BoldEdit is provided “as is”. Automatic transcription, captions, translation, and clip selection are produced by machine models and will sometimes be wrong — please review results before you publish. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that a scheduled post will always be delivered on time, since delivery depends on your device, its network, iOS background limits, and the platform’s API.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost data, or lost content, or for anything arising from a connected platform’s handling of your account or posts. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory consumer rights.

Termination

You may stop using BoldEdit at any time by deleting the app; doing so removes the local content and any stored account tokens from your device. We may suspend access if the app is used unlawfully or in breach of these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. If you use the app as a consumer elsewhere, you keep the mandatory protections of your country of residence.
